The draw for the Third Round of the FAI Ford Cup will take place next Monday, May 25 at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin.

The draw, which will see the 22 clubs from the League of Ireland Premier and First divisions enter into the competition, will be broadcast live on RTE’s Monday Night Soccer.

Bohemians are reigning champions after they lifted the trophy in November by beating Derry City in the final at the RDS on a penalty shoot-out following a 2-2 draw.

Exactly and its doubtful we will meet anytime soon in a league match so the only chance we have of getting ye in a competitive game is a cup draw.
A big home gate would be nice.

It'd be great if they could rig the draw to make this happen. Big gate for you, fun day out for me and a by into the next round for Derry.

We won the FD in Station Road..;)

You won the First Division because of a Limerick goal in Tolka Park.

Ideally no PD side. Not that we don't want to face them, it's just that we'll have to face them a 5th, possibly 6th time this season.

A long trip to some obscure place in Ballybobog we've never been to before, would be nice. Last one was Castlebar 3 years ago.

Wouldn't mind a trip to Waterford again actually... is the yellow house still open down the road?! Always great for stocking the bus after the game.

You put it up to us for half an hour, before we took over and wore the opposition down. Typical cup stuff. Would take another day out there alright, with a similiar result.

Would like Shamrock Rovers or Derry City at home.
Keep a bit of public interest up and maybe help get a decent crowd in.
In terms of Football, wouldn't be afraid of any team at the moment, bar Wexford Youths of course.

During MNS at some stage, I would say it will be in about the middle of the show.

Carrigaline beat them.

Cobh are terrible, well below Munster Senior League Standard. Set to finish bottom of the A League.
