The Future.... "Year 2010 Breaking News -- Taoiseach announces plans to build a national stadium. This will come as a welcome relief to irish soccer fans who have had to travel to Cardiff for every international match for the last 6 years..."

Rather and than wait I have a CUNNING plan:

We'll get sugar daddies to pay for the stadium, here are some possible people and how we can get them.

Fran Rooney - rumoured that he made 200 million off baltimore. We'll promise to stop insulting the FAI if he donotes 50 million and we'll call one of the stands after him.

Eircom - They were going to give 20 million towards eircom park. They give us the 20 million and we'll call the the car park after them.

Abramovich - The russians are currently trying to put a case together to bring him to trial for corruption. If he gives us 50 million we'll grant him political asylum in ireland.

That brings us to 120 million still a good 180 million short of a target of 300 million (good stadium would cost this).

Anyone else have any ideas of other people we can get?

reckon legendary punter jp mcmanus would be good for about 50 million but he would want it called istabraq park.

Harry Potter's mammy, JK Rowling is, well, rolling in it.
We trick her into thinking we're building a Harry Potter Theme Park and get her to trump up a few mil.
I'll seduce her if needs be?

Vodafone announced over €290m in pre-tax profits for their Ireland operations.
If they're willing to back losers like England cricket and Australia rugby then they'll surely throw a few yoyo's our way.
