After UCD's first senior game in the Athlone Town Stadium last tuesday, the team must be confident of a repeat performance. Although Athlone were worth at least one goal against the UCD team that played that night.

Brendan Place is proud of the fotball that Athlone is playing this season, UCD usulaly perform best against such football teams.
I expect UCD to win and benefit if Athlone play a tight off-side line.

Ridiculous set of results last night - draws for Shels and Fungus where we couldn't realistically hope for draws. Tonight's match is even bigger now!

great 1-0 win. Stay 2 pts ahead of Waterford, but 2 pts further ahead of Shels/Fingal

Bizarre game. Really should have been 5-0; never seen so many clear cut chances missed in one game. Bit worried that'll cost us this season.

Does the Athlone mascot get a one match ban?
