Ciaran Foley has shook hands with Don O'Riordan on a deal to bring him to Sligo Rovers for the first 10 games of the season, to be reviewed then.
Knowing Ciaran, I can say I do not know anyone as dedicated to Limerick as he was, having signed for the club when he was 15, and I wish him all the very best......(as long as the baldy little git doesn't do too much damage to us:D :D )

Best of luck to Ciarán I suppose, still feel that at 23 he was probably grown up enough not to have to follow the family back to wherever in Connacht they've ended up.

He's not a huge loss in the bigger picture anyway, we missed him because of our tiny squad but when you get right down to it, he's only really got his graft and work-rate going for him. He's not a great striker by any stretch and I don't think he's the player to fire us into the playoffs and top-flight.

And it's nice to see Sligo taking some of our cast-offs for a change!

well don decided that he was getting too much stick for constantly getting galway rejects so he said lets get limerick rejects instead, they are maybe a better class of reject .)
