The Cork league organised an U17 tournament for this weekend and asked all the leagues in Munster to enter and one or two from outside munster and all of them said they couldn't field teams!
Then Cork were invited to Athlone to play in a u17 tournement and that has now been cancelled too coz the other counties cant field teams. they are now supposed to go to Waterford to play a challenge match. The Cork team have been training away for these tournaments and now they will only end up with one game, better than nothing but does it say much for soccer that two tournaments were cancelled coz various counties couldn't field teams?
