Interesting stuff, there was sense of security until they slightly raised the shorts in the late 50's

My choice for the worst official first choice kit has to be
from that cráp game againast Norway 1985

We were sponsored by Irish Cement for a game or two in the mid-eighties. I remember a photo of Cascarino during his Eoin Hand period wearing one.

One of my favourites is a dark green, dark green and dark green strip against Belgium away 1986.

Yeah you're right, they are gifs, whatever that means :)

Anyway, the strip against Norway had that orange "sash".

Yes, definitely dark green.
Belgium had this 'Diablo Rouge' thing going on themselves.

So during the game you had all red versus all dark green tussles. It was kinda neat.
