Conor O’Grady is a major doubt for Sligo Rovers for the clash with Drogheda United in United Park on Friday night, with Mauro Almeida, Stephen Parkhouse and Chris Butler ruled out.
O’Grady sustained a dead leg in the 0-0 draw with Premier Division champions Bohemians last week. The Rovers captain has not trained since he suffered the injury and will undergo a fitness test prior to the match.
Almeida is a still a long way away from fitness after a setback in his return from the knock that has kept him out for the majority of the campaign so far. Parkhouse is also unavailable, while Chris Butler is also still out.
Brian Cash returned as a substitute for the second week in-a-row and will be pushing to come into the starting line-up.
