FOUR men were jailed yesterday for running a controversial downloading website used by thousands of British music, movie and gaming fans.
The landmark guilty verdict by a Swedish court was a victory for giant entertainment firms out to protect revenues over supporters of free file-sharing on the internet.
But the four defendants vowed to appeal, claiming The Pirate Bay site had done nothing wrong.
Its a bit like trying to stick a figer in hole in a dam.
