March 15th, 3-1
George, Doyle , COlin P
Dolan's second game if you include the behind-closed-doors game against Limerick.

Gaz was leftback, Warren came on as sub, Mickey Buckley played centre mid. Mooney was in goal.

Some shenanigans at HT by the subs - messing around with the dugout. Daly and Napier acting like kids..

And boy was it cold..

A game againsy Avondale would be interesting, loads of ex-city boys down there, with Johnny C as manager. Should be one of our better MSC attendances.

Are we looking at our pre-season fixtures?
A match against an English side or two would be nice considering that they have cup weekends too!!

Why aren't Limerick or Waterford in the MSC? Have they been knocked out or do they join it later?

Apparently we fell out with the Munster Board over something years ago and for some reason have never gone back. Which is a pity.

Far as I remember, Waterford were in it last year- they had been banned for 5 years for not turning up to a mtch, but they were back in. Maybe they already got knocked out :D

limerick and waterford won't play because they don't like that the final is in the 'cross' every year!!

The Cross is the headquarters of the MFA, so its fairly reasonable to play their competition there

This Carrig side knocked Ramblers out over the weekend and apparently there was supposed to be 2,500 fans at the game..if we get through our semi and Carrig do also maybe this could be a well supported final.I honestly dont think we would have any problems with them at the X.They will have a good day out though :D

But hold on, isn't this the magnificent side that showed such flair, ability and superb footballing skills to manage to scrape a draw against a Cork City 2nd eleven......;)

U must have been at a different game to me cause ye had 2 shots on target and were generally outclassed in all areas of the pitch. The young keeper worked his balls off to keep ye in the game but it eventually got too much for him and our superior fitness and all round class told in the end.

And if u can't even remember when ye last played a game, i don't hold out much hope u remembering the City game.
Carrick game was Sunday!
