He moved to Longford Town although may in turn be out of contract there now.

I always love the way UK football authorities consider all players as "lost to football" or similar ocne they leave the UK shores.

Yeah, Beesley and Quinless would be good signings.
Deans is nowhere near good enough imo.

I think I might be mixing him up with Terry Palmer. The fella who plays centre back for Rovers?

Yes, after failing to impress in 2nd division CHina, Gazza would be a big boost to our profile.

Georgie > Gazza

I think we've all been burnt by these over the hill has beens coming into our League, pillaging our money and running off with our women .....! ......... no more I say, no more.

Seriously though, no more repeats of George Best's, Trevor Brooking's or God forbid Liam O'Brien's.

If we're going to look in England for British players then we should be going after players like Dan Murray, Kevin Hunt ( Bohs ) or "Charlie" Bird ( Pats ) ...... guys who have brought a lot to the League and want to represent the League at the highest level.

Exactly Yan.......no ego's - they just want to play foorball.

Unsurprisingly there a number of Shels players. Is kinda surprising that Stephen Geoghegan is saying he's out of contract rather than retiring? Then again he's just had a pretty easy season from the bench.

Must just like playing football, I suppose. Apparently, we're looking to sign him, and I presume Dublin City will be in the hunt too.
