FAI hopeful on Government decision
Officials from the FAI and the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) met with Government officials on Tuesday to put forward their proposals regarding the redevelopment of the existing Lansdowne Road venue at a cost of approximately Eur250m.
The proposal includes a request for the Government to foot two-thirds of the bill and the joint FAI/IRFU faction to complete the funding by contributing approximately Eur83m between them.
