it will get as much as we let it get,
everyone know where and when, now is the time to spread the word,
this has been talked down so much the last few months, theres no expectation whatsoever,
so what has anyone to loose by coming along, especially when there noting else in town,

Club can open by law, would it be worthwhile though, and not many staff would want to work either. If word spread though club would be booming like pirates.

I agree the club should be open from Kick Off until 11pm. But I think an application to the court for this should have been made a few weeks back.
The match is what matters and DR is right we should all get out there and advertise it. I am going to put a poster up in my job letting the people know that we are playing Bohs no need to say A league just Cobh Ramblers v Bohemians etc.
There should be posters up around the place.

The club can only open if it gives 14 days notice of wishing to do so, unfortunatly all that can be open is the shop so stack up on the coke and wine gums lads.:D
As for the game I am looking forward to seeing some of the young lads play under DH and see what happens but I do feel that they have an extremly busy week ahead of them and a very important semi fenial on Sunday U17 so I would expect a lot of tired legs by Monday in Carlow so a lot of credit due to the lads for putting so much into this and hpefully they will be rewarded with a win

i dont think the same players are gonna be playing all the games, id say only 1 or 2 of the under 17s would make the squad, theres also uner 18 and 21s, and maybe a few others,
anyone got a squad list

Mikey was back training last week, fantastic to have him back, he'll have to carry the team friday i reckon, if it is all the young lads that is. He's well able to do so anyway.

Zico is back too and some Aussie fella called Paul Connell has signed up too. Does anyone know if Kieran O'Reilly plans on playing?

I'm of the opposite opinion as we need goals to win and there's no better man for it in the current climate!

Mikey is back and signed. O'Reilly and Mucky should be signed as players on Thursday. I'd agree with R14 on the O'Reilly goalscoring bit.

ya and what about my bit, will the benifits outweigh the risk

I see your point DR but sure any player could get injured though. The thing with O'Reilly is that when he plays he can score goals.
Any chance the game will be called off tonight with all the rain??
???????. I;m confused. Is there a game tonight or is it tomorrows game v Bohs you mean?

But if your to play the probability card it will be him!! And if you were to place a bet, who would it be on. And what he done to my crowd last year!!:D

AFAIK he is due to have more surgery this year so if he signs will the club have to cough up for that?

From how the traning was the other night the team looks solid.
Keeper: Alan Burns
Defence: From the training it looked like Kyle Downing(Right back) Zico and Peter o'halloran(centre back) and jon forest(Left Back)
Kyle and peter played with the a league last year so they know what the stanard is like.also they bth played games in the Eircom league!!
Zico has years of experience in the Eircom league and i expect him to be well able for the a league.
Jon Forest is a 17's player! He joined cobh at the start of the season. I watched him play in their semi-final against carrigaline! If that performance is repeaed for the season he could be our best player
Midfield: Again from watching training the line up looked like this. Stephen walsh(Right wing) Stephen Bruton and Colin Kearney(Centre Mids), Pierce Donnachie(left Wing).
I dont know anything about Walsh And Kearney.. ( If any1 knows what they are like pass on the info)
Steve Bruts is the captain for the youth since under 10 level! He is a good player and a great lad! About time he is in the team.
Pierce Donnachie is one of the most gifted players ive seen come out of the club in years. He can play anywhere on the pitch! Pierce could be also one of our best players this season!
Strikers: From training it looked like it was going to be Micheal O'Shea and Shane geasley up top.
Mikey is one of the most experience players in the squad and im delighted that he is still with the club!
Shane Geasley is a work horse! he give it 110% everytime i see him play! Quality player and super striker!
As for the Captain of the team i feel that it will be 1 of 3 people. Either Zico Mikey or Peter. i feel it will be zico but as long as they help the yonger players then i dont realy mind.
