athlone in flancare??

Any one hear any rumours re: Athlone playing in Flancare next season? someone said it to me, after they heard it in town!!! rumours i know but if its true wel....

If they show us some money I don't mind - any income streams welcome. If it is true, we should try and get the bar up and running ASAP to fleece some more out of them. Sure for half their team it would be like a home game of old anyway....

No idea what the plan is with the bar - posted on the Scumlone mb to see whether any talk the wrong side of Ballymahon as to whether their paying us rent....

i suppose if they were paying for the use of flancare there would be extra funds there for the looking after of the pitch! but who knows? we had enough problems this year with floods etc

Ah, it should be anyway, even without a summer season. Sure Tolka will have 4 teams playing there next season....

Doubt it's true tbh, but it was worth questioning the junkies for their reaction anyway....
