Not really payback at all lad actually - we were full value for the win tonight.... whereas it was a smash and grab last season in Turner's Cross.

fair enough Adam, lad - enjoy the win. :ball:

Most useless Bohs performance I've seen under Fenlon - I hope they're still in the dressing room at midnight being screamed at (Jason McGuinness excepted). Was coming, and I hope it means that galway are in for a hammering on tues.

In UCD v Kildare there were 6 substitutions, 3 goals and a serious injury which was treated for well over 5 minutes and the referee added 4 mins of injury time.

Fair enough - it was said more in hope than expectation: you're not the team i'd want to meet next after tonight TBH.

Very lucky to win tonight. We were poor and only got the winner in id say it must have been the 88th minute or so. Id imagine Mervue feel hard done by but we were pressing and deserved to nick a goal. Dosent excuse the fact that it was a poor performance but at least were grinding out results. I can see us getting a lot of our wins with only a 1 goal margin and if it works out that way I wont be complaining either.

Nope no idea where the ref got 6 mins from. Although after the Bray peno he was prancing about a bit after a bottle got chucked onto the pitch from the pats section. should have been a max of 4 mins

Delighted with the result but the ref again will be the talking point. Will be interesting on monday to see the pats disallowed goal on MNS.

96th minute. ****ing amazing!

I thought Stuey Byrne's goal was fairly lucky. Skippy's punch landed right on his forehead and he headed home from 25 yards.

Terrible defending from Pats for our winner. They were all just standing around, even Rogers in nets.

The first half was crap. Second half was a lot better for entertainment. Still trying to understand how we won it tonight. It seemed like an incredible match. A great buzz.

Good match at the Brandywell tonight. We really should have won on chances but to be fair to Galway they deserved something for their performance. Came and played football and attacked us, rather than sit a defend.

Good team to watch, was an entertaining game.

In fairness our winner was supplied from an absoplutely superb free kick with serious whip and pace on it that landed at the 6 yard box, Byrne attacked it, not mucn Pats could have done about it. It was past Rogers before he knew it.

Big talking point was the amount of injury time but in fairnessto the ref all 6 subs were made PLUS all the time he had to add on for what the Pats fans did (throwing bottles and coins at the Bray players) and then having to deal with the Pats players launching their attack on the lino. Wouldn't be far wrong with the amount he added on.

1st half was tight enough, thought Bray just about shaded it, 2nd half started off the same with both Rogers and Skippy making smart saves. the Pats disaloud goal did not give off side but there players have only themselves to blame for switching off. Faire play to Skippy and Kelly for being so alert, 30 seconds after the disaloud goal we had won a peno. Pats deserved their equaliser as they had us under serious pressure, even if it was a very lucky goal ! But hats off to the Bray players for finishing so strong and going right till the death. Smashing header by Byrne, the second Pats tipped off the full time whistle went. Magic feeling to win a game like that

Yer arse. Galway had one shot, nay two shots in the whole of the second half, scoring from one of them. For the entire second half had eleven men behind the ball. But as you say in was an entertaining game.

Do you think he needed to add all that injury time?!

In German matches the referee just blows up right on 90 minutes if the result is clearcut.

Watched Bohs v Cork on telly. Crap game, only the last 15 minutes had any real life about them. Carey added a bit of zip when he came on.
Would expect major changes from Fenlon for Tuesday's game. It just wasn't good enough.

When there's money on it...

Also goal difference come the end of the season.

Think it's common enough in those circumstances in fairness.

Remember the one minute of injury time at the end of our 6-0 hammering in Tolka? "We love you fourth official, we do..."
