Kildare to host dual code charity clash
It should be a gala occasion at Station Road on Sunday night (December 14th) for a charity soccer match between Kildare County FC and the county’s gaelic footballers, who will be managed by international legend Niall Quinn.
The game is set for a 7.30pm kick-off at Station Road in Newbridge, with the Michael Wright Leukaemia Research and Facilities Foundation being the main beneficiary. The Kildare Gaelic Footballers’ holiday fund will also benefit as will the host club.
