Was just wondering if anyone could help me. Everytime i go to facebook.com my IE tells me 'theres a problem and IE will close and re-start'. Has anyone had this problem before? Ive gone to the microsoft help, downloaded everything, did all they said, ive even lost my favourites and history because of this:mad:.... can anyone help?

As with all IE problems, my first recommendation is to stop using it and install firefox.
If that's not an option (is it a work machine?) then have you upgraded to IE8? Also, try clearing the cache and cookies (Tools -> Options -> Delete Files and Delete Cookies). Run a virus scan, download and install Spybot to make sure your machine is clean.
Does this happen on any other sites?

Did you install any Facebook apps? Some of them are horribly developed.

No - it is free, easy and fast to dowload, and you will never regret doing so.

Glad to hear it, IE is riddled with bugs, Firefox far and away the best browser out there.

yep, go with FireFox.
Sometimes some web applications used in companies to see what you are surfing cannot pickup what you surf via Firefox. Did I say that?

Google Chrome is the way to go.
