... come on its friday afternoon .... best I could up with ...

Still its nice to see some cash coming in (although there is no mention of figures) , after we won the league we had no sponsor the following season, which was disgraceful tbh.

Drogheda United are pleased to announced that they have teamed with County Meath Food giants Largo Foods. Established in 1983, Largo Foods is the leading manufacturer and distributor of premium snack foods in Ireland, supplying branded and own label products in the Irish, UK and Continental European markets.

Largo Foods brands include Tayto, King, HUNKY DORYS, Perri and Sam Spudz. Largo Foods has production facilities in the following locations: Co. Meath and Co. Donegal.

Drogheda United will display Hunky Dorys branding on all club team wear and associated kit. There will also be prominent HUNKY DORYS branding at United Park, the home of the Drogs.

Nicola Weldon, Senior Brand Manager, stated ? We are delighted to confirm our new partnership with Drogheda United and look forward to working with and supporting the team and club in the coming season. We wish the team and all their supporters a triumphant season.?

According to Drogheda United Commercial Manager Alan Williams this ?this is a major coup for the club in the current economic climate and I?m sure that this partnership will be of great benefit to us and our new sponsors?

Club chairman Jim McArdle was equally delighted with the deal and wasted no time in welcoming Largo foods on board. He added ?Its fantastic be associated with a high profile brand like HUNKY DORYS and the deal is a vote of confidence in Irish soccer and FAI League of Ireland.

Glad for Drogs also shows other clubs that getting sponsorship is still possible in current economic climate
