Meath Junior manager Martin Barry and selector Dessie Rogers were banned for 48 and 96 weeks respectively for the fracas when they had the audacity to pick Drogheda United keeper Gary Rogers

Meath chairman Fintan Ginnity had entered the dressingroom and tried to grab the jerseys after the team management had disobeyed orders not to play Gary Rogers after his henious crime of playing that dastardly foreign British protestant game. A fracas ensued.

Guess which way thr Meath county board will be voting if a motion on opening up Croke Park to football and rugby comes up in April?

Any odds on a "Bring back the Ban" motion instead? :)

Spot on. That kind of attitude should be left well and truly in the past. Did it not dawn on the w***ers that one of their greats Graham Geraghty also happened to be one hell of a soccer player. Pathetic is the only word.
