    Hello!

Welcome to the first Division boys! Don't go thinking you'll go taking over this forum either!

Though I was disappointed to see you come down if I'm honest...

And to give this post some purpose have any of ye heard that Oran Welderick could be turning out for ye next season?

It's only a short passing visit, that 'First Division' at the top of the screen just doesn't look right!

I haven't heard anything about any signings yet. I saw Weldrick play against us inb the league cup a few years ago. He didn't look anything special but I suppose when you lose 4-0, it's hard to.

Apparently he's been considered for next season (so his dad says anyway). He's doing a Masters Degree up in your place but arrived in UCD after the transfer deadline so UCD asked him to play Leinster Senior League with Pegasus to keep fit. I think he'd be well worth looking at, he's very versatile and combative and was one of our best players when he was still with us.

I don't know. I kind of like the "first" bit.

It's precisely the 'first' bit that I don't like! I much prefer the French version.

Well, slk - might as well get used to having UCD in your division. Youz on for a 5-a-side or two next season?

Remember Weldrick alright - how old is he? If he was lining out for youz three years ago and is only now going to College, then he's either a late starter or was playing very young for youz!

We have a few players lined up, but all schoolboy leaguers as far as I know. If we keep most of our players (touch wood!!!), we probably won't be dipping into the transfer market too often to be honest.

5-a-side should be arrangable, especially away because I'd imagine we'll still be playing in the middle of nowhere but we can sort that out as the time draws closer.

As for Welderick he's 22 I think, graduated from UL last year and doing a 2 year masters degree in UCD. So I suppose he was 18 or so when he broke into the Limerick team.

I heard that a couple of Kerry Leaguers were looking at UCD as well? Any thoughts?

They've a decent under 21 team don't they? There might be a few useful players there.
