He's PMed me to say he'll put it up on the blog tomorrow, as that's where these things are to go now.

It seems a bit pointless to me, but the mods tend to rate housekeeping far more than ordinary users, and anyway it's not the end of the world.

I just think that as the questions were posed on the forum, they should be answered there. particularly seeing as its accesed far more than the blog (or maybe its just me who hasn't once clicked into it)

I haven't looked at it since its earliest days either, but I think that once it's on the blog, it gets automatically reposted here too. If not, I'd be unhappy about this too for the same reasons you give.

Agreed. A couple of posters (including me) had highlighed what they thought were inconsistencies in the answers. I think we should be allowed to discuss them.

Can it not be on both the blog and on here ?

Was it answered? I never even saw it, and wouldn't think to look on the blog.

Agree the chance to discuss some of the answers should be given.

John83 posted it in full - about 7 full posts. There had been 3 or 4 posts commenting about answers before it was deleted.

Just noted it isn't even up yet. Why delete it if it's not going to be up immediately? (Just a copy and paste job, I assume). At very least, lock it so we can read it without having the nerve to comment.

Didn't even see it posted up, but the questions were asked for on the forum so surely that's where the answers should go? I always assumed the blogs were an addition to the forums, not the other way round (I've never looked at the either).

Myself and Face discussed this and in all honesty I wanted it on the blog because I want more traffic going to the blog. It's a wasted resource and it's far more appropriate for this sort of thing. I realise there are limitations though, which is why I'm working on bridging WordPress and vBulletin.

The final decision is Face's though, both the interviews and the blog are operated by him, so it's his call.

Lads, it was about 12.00 on sunday night and i was knackered tired and wanted to wait till Monday day in work, which turned out to be crazy busy so i didn't get near it till Monday evening.

Lads, there is a comments feature on the blog as well, you can use that. Also as Adam said ...

Bare with us lads, we'll get it sorted. In the meantime do you have any suggestions to improve the blog Q&A's? Is there anything you would like to see on the blog? Does anyone want to write for it?

Wouldn't a decent compromise be to leave the answers where they are but open a discussion thread on the main EL Board?

The current commenting function doesn't really cut it IMO, and as LOI stuff goes this is very important stuff that should be discussed.

But only because I like saying Righty dokey.
