lads,

Just a quick update on the €2 per week initative.
The trust has given an undertaking to donate €1000 per month from this.We paid the first installment on March 1st and will do so each month for the season.

However we still need to incraese numbers, to all who have committed to this a very big thank you.But a lot more have not and we owuld be hoping to increase the numbers to really succeed.

So again I am appealing to fans to sign up.
This money is helping with the playing budget.

We will shortly be releasing the names of donaters on the site to thank them for their donation.....

Alan, I think it’s a great idea to acknowledge the people who have subscribed to the €2 fund on the Trust website.
Do you think it would be possible to get space in the programme to publish the names in there too, just like the Johnny Chadda Fund

To date we are able to donate €1000 per month (started March 1st).The uptake is well below what I anticipated and to those who are contributing to the fundraiser I will be publishing a thank you to all those fans who have dug into their pockets to help the team and club succeed this season.

A lot of complaints about saturday night but what did we really expect when Cooke has a budget of €10,500 compared to Dundalk on €25,000 (according to a dundalf fan, O'callaghan on €1200 pw)

Any football league is dictated by finances spent on the team so if we can double our effort and get in more numbers maybe we can get the money together to get in a striker we badly need, but until then we will have to make do with what we have.
Complaining will do **** all

Do not know what any player is on but remember all players took substantial pay cuts for the club and Cook at the start of the season.

Substancial my arse! Do you want to know how much of a pay put they took? As for Rommy he is on way to much and maybe we should have taken the money Derry offered us.

Ah come on Alan! I think we all know that the only enlightenment you'll get there is more innuendo, half truths and slurs. Waste of time really..
