Hi lads.

I am heading to Sligo for a day in a couple of weeks. I have never been there before. A good few of the lads on the Sligo message - board have given me a good few ideas. What would ye reccommend ?

Thanks lads.

Rosses Point is beautiful . It is a seaside village only a few miles north of Sligo town. Fill your lungs with the Atlantic breeze.

Head out to Glencar Waterfall, climb Knocknarea, visit Yeates grave in Drumcliff
... then head back into town and get hammered! Good drinking town :)
(or at least it was when I was there!)

With the small addition of visiting family...that's my usual itinerary when I visit home:D

Are Rovers at home the day you're here? If so, problem solved;)

Thanks lads.

The reason I am going to Sligo, is I am going to see Stephen Hendersons'
Mighty Blues hammer Finn Harps in Ballybofey on the Saturday night. So I am thinking of staying in the North - West (Sligo) for the weekend.

Thanks for the tips lads. Keep them coming.

Yeah you'll probably want to be out of Donegal that night due to the shame of defeat
