Ive also been told shels hav said to, 2 high profiled Shels players that they can leave, Stuart Byrne, being one of them!

Well Alan has signed him twice before and would love to do so again. I heard him say that myself. Stuey has also said he would love to come back to Longford, misses the happy atmosphere of the club apparently.He also wants to go back part time to do a degree so if thats true that he can go, id say a return is a distinct possibility..Almosts seems too good to be true though..

I hope Stuey comes back, the man was a cult legend (I said cult.... ;) ) with us, and if only for the resumption of drinking Stuey Byrne specials again! Memories came flooding back... The word is especially with $hel$ apparantly trimming their squad.

Asked alan matthews about it in Eamons one night and he said he had tried to sign stuie but he seemingly has signed for another 2 years with shels! broke my heart he did!!

Not trying to be a smart a*se but he hasn't signed that contract and wont sign it unless they give him a part time one which Ollie didnt want to do. Matthews said after the last Pats game in McDowells the week before last that Stuey was on a week to week contract with Shels as his deal had run out and they couldn't agree on a new one. Would seem to be the case now too...
