Why are the first division matches not given publicity on this. I cant make away matches due to work commitments but would love to see the highlights of Limerick matches, even if it was only the goals. I wonder could we sign some kind of petition between all the first division fans on this forum maybe and try to get first division clubs the publicity they deserve. Anyone have any ideas how to do this?

There's just not enough time to show first divsion as well as premier. At most they could only show maybe the most important match in the divsion in any given week. Also not all matches are recorded, some home Limerick matches last season and teams like Kildare and Athlone have people recording.

That's part of the problem too. The very notion of showing (for arguments sake) Kildare - Athlone, recorded on one camera, on a programme that is hoping to raise the profile of the league is counter productive surely?

I think he's talking more in terms of the quality and suitability of the recording rather than the quality of the football....

Can it be any worse than handheld coverage of a Pat's player singing karaoke in a cramped dressing room?

How much turgid muck does one show need? Though I see your point, if that '60 seconds' travesty is allowed to continue...
Ultimately not enough people care about the first division.
