I think the odds of this weeks games are priced about right. The only odds that stand out for me is St Pats @ 13/8 Away at Sligo and Galway @ 7/4 away at Bray. I would have to see the lineups in the Waterford/Shelbourne game to make a judgment on that game.

Great odds on Derry. Most of us expect them to hammer us.

Wexford 6/1 away to Fingal! :O

Might have a piece of that myself.

Sheriff YC and Ballymun United both good bets at 6/4 to win away in the Junior Cup

Fairview at home look a steal at 8/15. They look like the cup winners.

Kildare at 4/1 against Longford looks ok as they created plenty against us and Longford aren't great this season.

Harps at 10/11 must be nailed on to beat Mervue United

Who are they 10/11 with? 4/5 best price quoted here (http://www.oddschecker.com/football/european-leagues/other-leagues/ireland/eircom-first-division/mervue-utd-v-finn-harps/win-market).

Harps are a young side and aren't nailed on to beat anyone. If we couldn't beat Kildare I don't see why we're certain to beat Mervue.

Gonna go with Derry, Bohs and Dundalk. And then a smaller one on those 3 with Galway too.

Kildare arent a bad side on their performance against us at the weekend but Mervue are very poor at the moment and if Nigel Keady is missing again at the weekend they have no one at the back

The Hackett's odds compiler seems to view things slightly different than all other bookies, giving 11/10 on Bohemians and Limerick.

Anyone got any bankers for the weekend ?

Lads,

Wouldn't be sure on Derry.

Delaney and Molloy out suspended. The loss of Molloy is a massive gap in the centre, as Deery is already out injured.

We may also be missing Morrow up front.

Would be wanting far better than evens on us!

I'd still expect ye to beat hoofball Doolin's team. They're missing O'Donnell, Mezeckis and Sullivan, and don't look to have gelled regardless.

All 4 fixtures between Shels and WUFC last season finished with 2 goals or less. So far this season they have played 4 games between them and only one game has gone over the 2.5 mark. Though you'd want to be a brave man to be backing @ 1/2 for this bet as it is the first division afterall.

Price depending:

Derry @ home

Unders in the Shels game

Giving the above two a miss.

League of Ireland Division 1 Matches Limerick v Athlone Town
20-03-2009 19:45
Over/Under 2.5 Goals
Over 2.5 Goals @ 11/10

League of Ireland Division 1 Matches Sporting Fingal v Wexford Youths
20-03-2009 19:45
Over/Under 2.5 Goals
Over 2.5 Goals @ 10/11

League of Ireland Premier Matches Bray Wanderers v Galway United
20-03-2009 19:45
Over/Under 2.5 Goals
Over 2.5 Goals @ 6/4

Going with a trixie on the above.

Also going with a big single on Shels to snatch all 3 points away to WUFC in what should be a very tight affair. They failed to beat us in all 4 fixtures last season but I think we can win down there once again. This could be a draw but at an average of 2.91 for an away win I'm getting stuck in.

Backing Shels @ 2.91 (betfair)

Over 2.5 in the Limerick/Athlone game is a reasonable possibility, given that both teams have scored a few goals so far. Bet365 have that priced at 13/10 which is an ok price IMO.

Wexford are weak upfront for tonight's game so I think Fingal would need to score 3 times for that game to finish over 2.5.

The trixie was a loser as I only got one up but had a hefty bet on the Reds so happy days. 85th minute winner

Gonna go with Derry, Bohs and Dundalk. And then a smaller one on those 3 with Galway too.Went with Bohs and Derry as part of a 7 game accumulator in the end up. 3 games down, 4 to go:)
