No sign of a website as of yet. Hopefully we will see one in the near future to inform supporters about fixtures/results etc, as I hear the local media are hit and miss when it comes to coverage and apparently lack interest. Tralee dynamos have a good site, well kept and constantly updated.

Just curious but would the club be better advised to play their games closer to Carlow town as opposed to Ballon? There might be better oppporunity to grow the club?

I'd imagine moving forward they'd have to. A lot of these clubs will have to make changes and re-invent themselves at some point. Tralee and Castlebar at some stage might want to look at taking on their county's names in a bid to become clubs for their regions that just the towns themselves. If the clubs were to, it'll be a bold move but also brave.

To b honest, its not about the name of a team which is going to help a club move forward or not.Tralee Dynamos is one of the oldest clubs in Kerry and with its traditions they are hardly going to change their name to suit people from outside of the club.Any person who has an ambition to play at a higher level from Kerry or its close neighbours, should not be worried about what the name of the team is,its up to them players themselves to make a full commitment to watever team they play for.At this time Tralee Dynamos are a league of Ireland team where everyone is more than welcome to join!

The U20's do play in Carlow town, the set-up at Burrin Celtic's The Valley in Balon is really very neat and a nice spot to play football.
One progressive approach of football is to spread the message so that a large number of people are aware of it.

I wouldn't argue against any of that. In terms of being a club for the county though and getting local support which the club would need, I think it would need the county name.
If you look at Kildare County, I think they went about it the wrong way. Newbridge Town were approached to join the then Eircom League and the felt the name Kildare County would interest support from around the county, I think they'd have been better joining as Newbridge Town and laying foundations. After a few years then would have been the time for a name change and a change of direction.
