Alan Murphy of Galway has signed for Derry. Big big signing imo. Wouldn't have said no to seing him play for Shels.

It's also not been mentioned here as far as I know that Shels have signed Robbie Sheilds on loan from Leeds aswell.

I think you'll find Robbie Clarke was at Dublin City last term. Also Graham Dunning seems to have gone back to Bluebell United in the LSL.

That's not the Niall Donnelly we released at the end of the season is it? Could easily have been signed by Doolo and then loaned straight on to you. Really tall really gangly centre-back. Or maybe it's someone different.

Well it is fairly unlikely they have two centre-backs called Niall Donnelly! Is he any good? I think he's only being signed as cover after Frawley decided to leave us for Galway.

I didn't hear that he was signed by though - we released him and I haven't heard anything else since. Tis only because Doolin's in charge up there and has had a bit of a penchant for signing our players since the season ended that I'm making that link. Chances are it's another centre-back.
Our Niall Donnelly was in the mould of Clive Delaney, but nowhere near as good. Really awkward lumbering look about him. Has potential I'd say, but not a signing to be getting excited over yet.

Thats the bloke alright. He played right back for us in a friendly against Portadown at the weekend and I have to say he was an absolute revelation, man of the match.
I think we might be holding onto him atfconline!!

Well he was down training with us yesterday morning. I'm told an agreement has already been reached. We'll have to wait and see I guess.

I would say you are right actually. We have a new player brought in for right back who is supposed to be sh*t hot plus we have plenty of cover.
