The Oompa Lumpa one LtiD came up with for that short, orange ref was quite good

Using it for every other ref (including one with blonde hair that is 6ft 3ish) has ruined it however

Despite it angering me I did think the "Dublin rejects in Tesco bags" one for us was funny.

That was mine (well I stole it from Cork if I'm honest). About 2 people laughed, the others looked bemused.

Limerick - Has to be the inbred song.

The Spurs Adebayor one is a classic but also very racist, so I won't type it :D

After Jamie Carragher's brother shagged John Terry's mother, and is now sung at every Liverpool v Chelsea game:
(5 times)
She Loves the Scouse ****
She Loves the Scouse Cooooooock
John Terry's Ma
She Loves the Scouse **** :p

The Ryan Giggs illegitimate and Bobby Charlton paedophile ones are good too

When there wasa big rivalry between United and Leeds in the early 90's...

"He's French, he's brash, he's ridin' Leslie Ash....Cantona...Cantona"

Rumour had it at the time that King Eric was throwing one into Lee Chapmans missus.....:D

A couple of my favourites

Rovers fans in Rathbane when we were rock bottom "going down going down"

"so are we so are we"

When Ally Dawson (former Rangers captain) played for us in 1989 he was getting dogs abuse from some Rovers knackers behind the goal. Our knackers who were on the swimming pool roof came back with "5-1 5-1 5-1" in reference to a recent Rangers win over Celtic by that score. The Rovers fans were totally disgusted but it shut them up. I think that was the same game where they got a deserved equaliser in the 90th minute with 9 men and we stole victory in injury time.

One from Euro88 (younger fans need to lookup Michael Fagan)

"Michael Fagan, Michael Fagan - Michael Fagan f%^Ked the queen".

Teddy Sheringham famously went to Man Utd to win trophies - in his 2nd season (98/99) he routinely got "Oh Teddy Teddy you went to Man Utd and you won f%^k all" from opposing fans. At the champions league final in Barcelona the Man Utd fans sung it.

During the Loyalist Feud - Rangers fans chanted "U U UDA" Instead of the usual Celtic retort they got "U U UVF" back.

I also like dthe england one in Munich in 2001 - "5-1 even Heskey scored"

I thin kthis was Sheffield United but could be wrong - in the days of the old Simod Cup midweek cup small crowds and predetermined draw with the winners away to Millwall. Ten minutes to go and 3-0 down, from the away end comes "You're goin to Millwall, You're goin to Millwall - we're not"

That utterly brilliant/vile Sol Campbell chant comes to mind.

And another Posh Spice one:

"Posh Spice is a slapper,
She wears a wonderbra,
And when she's shagging Beckham,
She thinks of Ginola."

Wolves fans to Sunderland at some point:

"We'd rather have McCarthy than Roy Keane,
We'd rather have MvCarthy than Roy Keane,
He didn't cripple Haaland,
Or walk out on Ireland,
We'd rather have McCarthy than Roy Keane."

Away at Drogheda in the cup a few years ago Limerick attempted to garner some solidarity with a rousing chant of,

"If you hate Dundalk clap your hands," which we were joined in by a fairly small section of Drogheda fans leading us to switch to,

"You're supposed to hate Dundalk" (ad infinitum).

The birdy song when we were hanging onto a one goal lead late on was genuinely awesome too. Like many things in life it was ruined and despoiled by the younger generation. :p

Better count the cops before trying that at Tolka in a couple of weeks.

On Friday night at Tallaght Rovers had a pretty moving historical display, minutes applause for dead fans etc etc followed by "You can stick your f^&king history up your ar$e" from the sligo fans. Tasteless but funny.

an old favourit eof mine is was sung at MK Dons fans "No one hates you no one hates you no one hates you no one cares"

Didn't we have a 'We're supposed to be playing Galway' the first time Dundalk visited us after Galway were 'promoted' ahead of them?

Queue Galway fan saying they were invited, not promoted in 3..2..

Got to say that singing about Shels in games that don't involve Shels is neither big or clever.

Wheres your man with the glasses gone who used to start all the songs? Someone on here referred to him as Mark. Any night he has been there the singing has been class. He gets all the songs started. Anyone know him, text him to come along to the next match. We need his support!!!! Can you hear the Limerick sing??????

Ahh that's Mark O' Rioardan. Unfortunately Mark lives in Dublin, but still manages to come down to Jackman for important home games and away games within a close enough radius to Dublin. A true blue.

Stolen from Liverpool fans who were the first I know to use it after Djimi Traore's own goal in the cup against Burnley a few years back. Liverpool had the good grace to substitute other players names for sunshine/moonlight/good times too. I think Biscan was one of them.

On the other hand it's nice for the scousers to have something stolen from them for a change, see how they like it. :)
