On the Shels website they are saying that Dublin City will be sharing Tolks Park with Shels and the Homeless next season ........if they get promoted.

That means that each of those Teams will play 22 of their 36 games in Tolka..............!

Kinda makes a mockery of the the Home and Away scenario for other Clubs me thinks. More Munster Teams please!

Also what a joke the Rovers fans are. Did anyone see last nights Chorus coverage of the Rovers vs Shels game form Tolka last week. If there was 20 people at the end we occupied the previos week there was a lot. We had two thirds of the terrace filled ........before Shels tried to surround us.

And they Rovers have the neck to say we have poor away support.

They couldn't be bothered travelling across town..........homeless and a joke.

Inteerseting to see Shels didn't go to that end in the second half of the Rovers game........hmmmm!!!!!!

To be fair I think that the Shels fans came over to us because there were a few bohs fans knocking about.
I don't think there was any harm done and the confetti certainly took the edge off the tension.

I have alos heard that Dublin City will play some games in Tolka. Surely Rovers will be sent out to Belfield or somewhere more suited to their low attendances?

In fairness to the rovers fans, most would have given up by now. they're being treated like shít by their board.

Can't speak about whose fault it is that Rovers in situation they in but can't think there be many city fans left if we in the same scenario.

Many Cork clubs folded in lesser circumstances.

Three clubs sharing the same ground is going to cause a load of problems. With two sharing you only have to organise (and repair the pitch) one home game per week. But there are going to have to be weekends where two home games are played at Tolka (probably on consecutive nights).

If the FAI don't get the scheduling sorted / Shels have a European run (no seriously, it could happen) or if any of the three clubs put together cup runs, the backlog of fixtures will cause havoc.

There are already three teams playing in Tolka! Belgrove play their LSL games there as well. There's surely no way that a pitch can take four teams playing on it?

I don't think so some how.

I thought there were four on it already .... and one more would make it five, and you are right it cant take it ..... it was in sh!te the last time we were up there. The groundsmen, while the have a tough job, aint doing a good job.

Dublin City have already played in Tolka Park at the beginning of the season before the one just ended for a few games when Rovers were still there.

Rovers and Shels play Friday nights, Dublin City on Monday nights.

There was a report in the Herald a few days ago that Shels have received planning permission for a 1200 seater stadium out in Finglas. Something about moving to try and increae their support base.

Don't know if theres any truth in it or when it's likely to happen

isnt 1200 a bit too much tho for shels...???;)

The combined crowds of all these teams wouldn't match those at the Cross...........and certainly not next season when we top the League from start to finish;)

I think the word 'shambles' sums it all up.
