It's good fun this... just follow these instructions...
1 - Go to Wikipedia. Hit “random”
or click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.
2 - Go to Quotations Page and select "random quotations"
or click http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four or five words of the very last quote on the page is the title of your first album.
3 - Go to Flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”
or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
4 - Use Photoshop or similar to put it all together.

Fluked a good one, all ties together and all. How do I get the image posted up though?

Save it as a jpg or gif, and just attach the image. I couldn't do the full preview though for some reason...

Rather comically, the first random article I got was an album.

That's a proper album cover!

use tinypic.com and upload your picture. Under the 'links to share' option, you'll see IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards, copy the code underneath it and it'll pop up as a preview here.

That is brilliant!
Also, this is genuinely what the band name came up as. Appropriate, I know. :)

Not bad I guess. Sadly I don't know how to make it bigger.
Check post 8 and that'll do the job. This thing really works!

I'm still botching up posting the image but my bands name was "Dr Quinn - Medicine Woman" - "What Life is About" - available now at all good records stores (and a few dodgy ones).

Excuse the orange text - I'm not a graphic designer!
I want to buy Mr Maroon and Sligobrewer's albums.

Best thread down here in a good while! I'll contribute when I figure out how to.
I want to buy Mr Maroon and Sligobrewer's albums.
Yeah, Mr Maroon's twee-folk with a hint of gypsy-punk offering would go down well I feel. While SligoBrewer's Philip Glass esque album is sure to offer resplendent solace.
Not at all sure about the The Beautiful South - Rotterdam connotations to your one Noby? Still undecided.
Must say though, Red & White Rover's second effort emits a powerful dance-punk vibe that I'm finding irresistible. Less so his first, bling-rap one!
Great thread. :)
