So how did this fight go anyways. This report says that he did well until the last round http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=18850&more=1

Kelly Pavlik mentioned him first when asked his next possible opponent as well but he did have a fairly big list of names.

He fought a very different fight than he usually does, he boxed alot more than brawling, came out of the fight without his face looking mashed for a changed. He looked good. I really dont think he has the power to go up against Pavlik though, even the commentators were saying during the fight that he might be better to drop down a weight class

Duddy is quite a limited fighter, he will struggle to make any impression on a fighter like Pavlik. He ususally gets drawn into a slugfeast by poor enough opponents.

I think there is a bit of Steve Collins about him, has alot of heart and that cant be underestimated in boxing. And he showed last night that he has plenty of boxing abilty too

did you actually watch the fight? Not the greatest opponent but he thoroughly outboxed Vanda, and stuck to his gameplan of boxing smart and not getting into the slugfest he's known for. He's improving as a boxer under Liam/Pat(?) Burns

I think he will become a World Champion in next 12 months, but it's as much to do with a decline in the division as Duddy's ability.
Froch or Kessler would beat him, but he could knick a belt off an easier opponent, maybe.

No I didnt see the fight the other night, my comments were based on his carrer to date. I've seen a good deal of his fights & although he is getting closer to his shot at a world title, based on his rankings, I dont think he has the quality. You would be hard pressed to call Vanda a class opponent.
