Well how badly has the recession affected season ticket sales in the LOI. If supporters could pass in what they've sold just to see how much season tickets have been sold so far

all figures are of how much sold at present.

Premier:
Bohemians-
Bray-
Cork-
Derry- 1200
Drogheda-
Dundalk-
Galway- 210
Sligo-
Shamrock Rvs- 1250
St Pat's-

First:
Athlone-
Finn Harps-
Monaghan-
Mervue-
Kildare-
Limerick-
Shelbourne-
Sporting Fingal-
UCD-
Wexford-
Longford-
Waterford-

Any First Div. clubs able to speculate on what they've sold?

Rovers have sold around 1,100 tickets so far, but that will amount to more bums on seats than that due to that including family tickets. Another big drive to sell more season tix in the next couple of weeks before the season too.

Have not a clue bout brays season ticket toll i'd say its fairly poor though the lowest in the premier division
Well it would want to be fairly to beat ours i'd say. Hopefully a big push by us for the next two weeks will see us reach past 300

Nope. Derry had almost double the amount we had last year(over 800) and ours are down so far this year. For some reason people dont seem as bothered about season tickets down here as up there even though we get similar crowds.

We sold over 800 last year. With one thing and another (!) sales have been slow so far this year! Tho they are much better value this year so we should shift a good few

Close on 300 family season tickets sold by us so far. They allow two adults and two kids entry as part of our patron scheme

Normal season tickets went on sale today at match against bohs. Think we got 10 applications

2000 free season tickets to be given out at first home match of the season to all the kids that play underage in the town. Anyone under 14 will have to be accompanied though.

Sorry Battery, Im not sure I follow. Are the 2,000 free season tickets just given to under 14s?
I suppose if that is the case, it is just like saying U14s free with a paying adult. It's a good idea and I'm sure the kids love the idea of having their own season ticket and will want to drag mum & dad to as many games as they can

The local schoolboy league in the town goes to Under 17 so up to that age will receive one

We do anyway. Ditto the soccer campers. We usually give out loads of season tickets and sell just the few.

the club has sold more season tickets this year than any other year, the number on my ticket is 94, so i would say they have probably sold at least 100.

To bring this back on topic.

"Close to 2,000 season tickets have been sold," says Shamrock Rovers chairman, Jonathan Roche. "That's obviously a huge increase and shows the level of interest that's out there.

"We're after giving members and general supporters the opportunity to get tickets, so the remainder will now go on general sale to personal callers at the club offices in Centrepoint Business Park.

"As the capacity of Tallaght Stadium is restricted to 3,300 until after the second stand is completed, it's unfortunate that demand is clearly going to outstrip supply."

Fair play to the Shams for getting this number of season ticket sales.

Fair play to Rovers season tickets are flying!
No doubt a lot of people who used to travel to Milltown on a regular basis but wouldnt go to Tolka are going to swell attendances this season. Love em or hate em League of Ireland needs Rovers supporters in big numbers to boost attendances. The club seem to be doing all the right things at last!
Good look to them. No doubt silverware will follow.

2.000 sold season tickets? I think that's really good, because It's more than some teams of German 2. Bundesliga have sold.

How much are Shamrock Rovers charging for a Season Ticket?

Start at €100 for members, €200 for adult unreserved for non-members, €300 for adult reserved seat for non-members.

Tallaght Stadium officially sold out now for first game. 3,500 according to Shamrock Rovers website.

Well I got mine on Friday night before the game and I'm number 449 and that on the adult ticket.

There should be a lot more than that sold when you consider it is on €99 per season ticket and €49 for a child's season ticket. I was considering getting one for the little lad but not sure whether I'll bother.

As per www.dundalkfc.com we sold our 650th season ticket prior to the game v Bohs.

We seem to be great at even ending numbers, same for attendances !

This was a season record figure, even during the glory days of the 70`s + 80`s, no more than 400 were ever sold.
