Hi there,
I'm making a radio documentary this year that primarily follows the fans of Limerick FC throughout the 2009 season, going under the working title of "Friday Night Blues".
While there will be bits n' pieces recorded with players and management during the course of the season, the prime focus will be on the fans themselves - looking at their hopes for the season, their history with the club, and following them as the season unfolds.
Any Limerick fans interested in taking part, please message me here or send me an email at ciarandryan [at] gmail [dot] com for more info. The programme will be broadcast on Live 95fm at the end of the season.
Thanks, Ciarán

Sounds like a very good idea. I'll be looking forward to hearing it at the end of the season. Hopefully it will be a successful season you will be following.

Cheers Jofspring. Anyone who is heading to the UCD game and wants to meet up before or at the game for a wee interview, please give me a shout! Otherwise, I'll be easy to spot - the idiot walking around with the microphone!

hi folks,
just wanted to say a quick thanks to all who have contributed to this programme during the season - a lot of you have from this very board
I haven't got a date for the programme yet, but it will be in 2 parts sometime in December I expect.
For anybody who hasn't registered their two cents, or wants to re-register so to speak, I will be at tomorrow night's game doing my final home game recording of the season, and if you've seen me about with a microphone before and was wondering why I never asked you, now is your opportunity. I also hope to make the Longford game.
Cheers again, Ciarán

I seem to recall doing a bit for this on the bus to Drumcondra. Well structured, and it's very closely related to the fans aspect of things. A few very biased remarks being made, but that's football eh?
Can't wait to hear this, great stuff Ciaran. :D
