Lads,

We are all annoyed by this but realistically what can be done to get this sorted. An important factor would be to get this publicised and embarrass the LDMC into change. This means ringing radio shows and writing to the local press. We can whinge about it here among ourselves or actually go and try and do something about it.

Phone calls to councillors and TDs? Any other ideas? Does any one know anyone senior in the junior circles. Ring them. Let them know what is going on and see if they can be persuaded to talk to the LDMC.

Do it, lads. Don't just talk.

what are the club doing through the FAI to sort it out?
i find it incredulous that the most important game in years to your club can be hijacked and sabotaged by junior administration.
(plus i have a few bob on ye to be promoted since seasons start.)

I don't know what the club are doing - I don't have an inside track like others here. I do know though that fans have options too. If we sit back and wait for the club to do something we will all be driving up the M7 on Sunday morning.

There are enough media outlets around to get your spake in. At leastits something constructive instead of all the whinging that goes on around here.

just got a call there from jond and he said that the junior game has been postponed. now the munster council refused to overrule and the ldmc set up this charade so i take it that the FAI stepped in and if so hats off to them. right now for the football bring on sunday

We should definitely embarrass these scum for what they are. I would openly invite their committee to the next supporters club meeting, and have the local media there also. Then pop a few awkward questions. I have spoken to Mal Keaveney from the radio, and he has assured me that Leonard Burke will be highlighting this incidence on Saturday morning. I have also contacted Mark McCadden at the Star, and he has promised to do his best on some publicity on this.

I think the pressure exerted by some fans has led to this being postponed. The LDMC really couldn't have progressed with this. I was asked if I'd go on Limerick Today this morning - but now its sorted I don't know what interest they'll have.

One thing strikes me again. The level of good will that exists towards Limerick FC (the LDMC aside). It is important that is tapped into in the future.
