I don't know if anyone else read the times about a week ago or if there is already messages on it but Kerr was looking at playing in a international 'B' tournament in Portugal early next year and had intended to include 8 eL players in the squad.
He didn't go ahead with it as the tournament was not on an international week so he didn't expect to be able to get the English based players released. Pity, as it would've been great.
If there is a spare International week that the senior team is not using I don't see why he wouldn't host a game ( preferable against a strong nation e.g. Italy, Germany instead of a crap team like NI, Wales or Scotland ).
My guess is that it would've included Jason Byrne, Glen Crowe, Wes Hoolahan, Bobby Ryan and maybe even Stuart Byrne and Colin Hawkins.........John O'Flynn too if he was fit. Can't think of what others off the top of my head, Tony Grant would be good.
