View Full Version : Limerick FC Team 08/09?

I presume Limerick FC will be recieving a License and with only a month to go till the start of the season how's the team looking??

GK: Dave Ryan, Brian Collopy
DEF: Pat Purcell, Peter White, Paul Danagher, Tommy Barrett, Brian Cleary, Brendan Daly, Ian Storan
Midfielders: Jason Hughes, Thomas Lyons, Wayne Colbert, Paul Walshe, Davy Ryan, Stephen Goggin, Bobby Tier, Colin Scanlon.
ATT: John Tierney, Chimka Manjor, James Hayes, Gary Sheehan, Paul Cummins (Just signed i see)

That's all the players that played for the first team last season that i can think of off the top of my head. Haven't included Paul Finucane, Darren Young or Conor Molan as it hasn't been confirmed that they have signed yet. Are there any players that can be added or taken away from that squad?



On a side note can the name on the Limerick section be changed to FC instead of 37. Not a big deal but may aswell have the right name down.

Fairview seem to be able to produce the players for senior level down the years alright.

I acually had a brief stint up in Garryowen myself at U12 level ,so that club also produces quality. :ball::cool:

I can't change that. Start a thread on the support forum and I'd imagine it will be done pronto (until the next change anyway)! :)

Its ok, its been changed to Limerick since yesterday to avoid any further changes down the line :p

Anybody know what players where already signed last season for this season. Where any players on two year contracts?? I remember being told up at a match last season that Tierney was already signed up for this season but now i'm hearing he hasn't signed yet. Any idea when the Squad list will be upated on the website, Only 2 names up on the website as it stands (Paul Cummins, Dave Ryan (GK) ). Would just like this cleared up so we don't have to listen to people saying this player has or this player hasn't signed.

I heard that no players have been signed yet, i also heard that the players have to pay when they go training !!!! is this true

Thats casue it could have been a case of sort the license out first and then start to sign the players. I'm sure we'll be hearing of signings over the next few days/weeks. I was just wondering if anyone from last season is signed or are there anymore additions yet this season. At the moment i take it no one has signed yet but will in due course.

Spoke to Christy and he's not signing for Limerick at the moment.

Would just like this cleared up so we don't have to listen to people saying this player has or this player hasn't signed.

Unfortunetly we'll just have to keep an eye out on the club site cause all you'll get on here is rumour regarding things like this. Now some/most of it may be true but you just never know.

Ya I understand that alright. I just wouldn't have any inside info so it's hard to know what's truth or what's lies. Hopefully the club will put an end to all the rumours soon.

Great to see Paddy has sighned too.
