From FAI website
The draw for home venue in this season's eircom League promotion/relegation playoff final was made at Monday night's (November 17th) meeting of the eircom League Management Committee.
As a result, the winners of the First Division 2nd place versus 3rd place semi-final will be at home in the first leg of the final against the winners of the Premier Division 9th place versus First Division 4th place semi-final.
In the semi-finals, the higher placed side has the choice of playing the home leg first or second.
In both semi-finals and the final, in the event that the scores are level after the two matches, the away goal rule will not apply. Thirty minutes extra time of two fifteen minute periods will be played. If the sides are still level, penalty kicks will be used to decide the outcome.
Who will be in the play-offs is still wide open with UCD, Derry City battling it out in the Premier Division with Drogheda United still not mathematically certain of avoiding relegation while in the First Division, Dublin City, Bray Wanderers, Finn Harps, Limerick and Kildare County are all in contention.
