I thought the FAI only had CPO's placed in Premier Divison clubs?
They're currently advertising for one at Sporting Fingal [applications must be in by Feb 6th] on the FAI website.

Bray's CPO is gone, hasn't been replaced. Were they employed by the clubs or by the FAI?

Wages are 50/50 between the FAI and the club I think.

wages 50/50 between club and the FAI. If a First Division club want to have a CPO and pay 100% what's wrong with that?

If first division clubs have a premier licence then they get the same 50/50 deal as the premier division clubs.

Its also recommended that all clubs, no matter what license they have employ a CPO.

There is no such thing as a CPO anymore though! In the First Division we are School Liasion Officers now. Cant remember the new title for them in the Premier though.

A CPO for Sporting Fingal is exactly what's being advertised, maybe the club themselves have decided they need one and have asked the FAI for support.

I know. Officially the name has or is changing but it is still the same role. So description would be right. As was said already there is nothing stopping a club getting one if they are willing to pay the full whack or they qualify for funding from the FAI.
