Watched Shrewsbury Town, managed by Paul Simpson who played for Finn Harps as part of his playing career, against Lincoln at the weekend.

Former Bray man Graham Coughlan is now with Shrews and I have to say he was very commanding and strong at the back. A hell of a lot of experience there so for his age he's comfortable at this level.

paul keegan was probably one of the worst players we've ever had... him and dean barrett.

That's a quite ridiculous comparison to be honest. He was light years ahead of Dean Barrett. He was injured a lot when he signed first but he won us the cup in 2004 and was very good in 2005, scored a good few goals that year. He was overpaid but that's another story. There's been an awful lot worse players for us.

I'm pretty sure he's been with them for a good few seasons Marty.

fair enough point rovers1 but Burton only got promoted this season so this is his first season with them in the football league ..

If Keego hadnt scored that goal in 2004 cup final we wouldnt have won the double that year.. Forget about his first season ,his second season was top notch he scored I think 5-6 goals that season which was only 3 behind Andy Myler...

I saw Sean Dillion play for Dundee United against Motherwell last Saturday, he started right back, he gave the ball away on the sideline as he tried to let the ball run out of play, the guy who got the ball passed it into the box and Dillion took him down for a penalty which Motherwell scored and won the game 1-0. Dillion looked very nervous in defence, but put in some very good crosses on attack.

From BBC:

Celtic winger Paddy McCourt waltzes past four limp challenges from the Buddies defence and slams an angled shot beyond Paul Gallacher.

"Paddy McCourt is a throwback to an earlier era, the ball looks like it's tied to his toes sometimes," BBC Scotland pundit Craig Paterson is impressed by the Northern Ireland winger.
