NI striker Peter Thompson had been sidelined with a chest infection
Northern Ireland striker Peter Thompson is in hospital after suffering a suspected collapsed lung.
The former Linfield star, who moved to League One club Stockport County in July 2008, had been out of action because of a chest infection. He was back doing light training on Thursday when he experienced breathing difficulties and was taken to hospital where the problem was diagnosed.
