Kildare County will have to wait until the licencing committee meets to see if everyone else (especially Drogheda) gets a licence..

The Irish Times today is saying that Cobh may only get an "A" Championship licence. I presume that Kildare will be back in the First Division if that happens?

Assuming Kildare County meet First division requirements, Yes. The FAI did ask them to apply for a first division licence just in case.

I'd polish yer boots and warm up yer vocal chords lads. Word down here in Cobh is that we're headin for the A Championship, so ye should be safe. Whether ye stay up or not, best of luck next year.

Judging by the friendlies ye've lined up, it looks as if ye, maybe dining at the First Division table this season. I personally felt Kildare was a loss to the league even if the attendances were low. They've a young team and a new manager.

Excellent news! I doubt we'll end up in such dire straits this season. Whats kildares record financially in general? I know there was that strike threat midseason but in general we've always gone about things drama free?

Should definitely look to recruit more from ballyoulster and even celbridge town more, who are both doing extremely well in ddsl across the age groups, especially town's seniors who reached fai cup 2nd round the other season, beaten 1 nil away to longford back in 2007 when they were still a prem team. Know a good few myself playin in the league of ireland now and more who are more than able... had ourselves a golden generation lol

Welcome back Kildare. Shortest relegation ever?

Does that mean Kildare will be in the First Division? Or do they just meet the criteria? Confusing!

Also does anybody have a lineup from the Wexford game?

Cobh only got an A Championship licence so it means Kildare will be in the First Division.

Dont know the exact line up, but:

GK: Colin Cassidy
LB: Baba Isaaca
RB: Matty Byrne
CB: Karl Hegarty
CB: Dave O Connell
LM: ??
RM: ??
CM: Cathal Brady
CM: (paul?) Rigney
ST: (Brazilian?)
ST: Paddy Mahon

Trevor Bowers and John Flynn came on later with a lot more new faces. Most seemed to be local.

Cathal Brady played on one of the wings, Paul Rigney did come on as a sub and there was some guy called Rory something that started in CM. The Brazilian guy is Lee something

No Brazilian played that day. I think Lee is African.
