This isn't more of a post but a question on what is the future of Longford Town FC with a recession? Will De Town get bums in seats and can they ever get back in into The Premier Division? What does the new season hold for them? Any predictions?

We'll know more when Gough gets his squad together and after pre season games. Only way to get bums on seats is to be winning but not only that but to be playing attractive football. Also think the admission prices should of been dropped by a few quid seeing as there is a massive recession on. Makes no sense whatsoever having the prices at where they are for First Division football.

the recession is hotting every club from the top of the premier down..with clubs goin back to part time, more emhphasis will be placed on youth structure to find players..or else get in a young untried manager..with little coaching experience..bringing in players that premier div teams dont want but will work their socks off for the town..anyone else see a romantic parallel...
