Bohemians have confirmed their pre-season plans as they look to ready themselves for the defence of their Premier Division title.

Last season's double winners will take on first division outfit Waterford United at the RSC on the final day of January, before heading off to a training camp in Cadiz, Spain where they will play a friendly against Russian Premier League side Lokomotiv Moscow.

When they return to Irish shores they will then take on Longford Town and Glebe North away from home, before rounding off their preparations with two home games against Monaghan United and Shelbourne.

Bohemians pre-season fixtures:

Saturday January 31st vs Waterford United (RSC Waterford - 7pm)

Sunday February 8th vs Lokomotiv Moscow (Montecastillo, Cadiz, Spain - 4pm)

Saturday February 14th vs Longford Town (Flancare Park - TBC)

Wednesday February 18th vs Glebe North* (Glebe North, Balbriggan - 7.30pm)

Saturday February 21st vs Monaghan United (Dalymount Park - 7pm)

Friday February 27th vs Shelbourne (Dalymount Park - 7.30pm)

I'm afraid the 10th could be a problem as Testament, Megadeth and Judas Priest are playing that night so I think the game needs to be moved to the Thursday.

I will be wearing Black & Red that night. The red blood of a slaughtered Pig & the black eyeliner to align my soul with the coming of our Lord Abbadon Incarnate.

This night wil be ours Oh Lord of eternal darkness & urine. Unlike the last time when you were sent packing by 6 of the Members of the Local Heritage Board in a Hyundai.

Im not fully sure yet. I have a small sacrifice to head to first but God knows what time we will get out of that at. You know how those things go especially if Cafferty the Rainmaker starts one of his chants that goes on for too long.

That game against Longford is not going ahead. They're pitch is not available on 10th Feb. Heard we supposed to have four home friendlies and thats why it wont be switched to showgrounds.
just got this on sligo forum we can safely assume that friendlys not goin ahead now.

ah yes but Marty did make The Pats game in Inchicore, an away game, we (apart from the cup final) have never made a Longford away game iirc.

never sligoman just needed my fix of top flight footie and they are my second team considering i lived there three great years there in the mid nineties.. im pretty confident that ltfc will be your second team is that right??

i wouldnt be too surprised if bohs pull this especially if fenlon gets the bullet but yeah look forward to catching up with you .. there are not many eircom league fans at work as there used to be..

that would sort of make sense allright.. send me a pm if you hear anythin more on this .. in todays longford news bray wanderers are confirmed as opponents which will be played away no word on a date though...

Good for the fans alright. Home club pays for the refs too which is welcome from the club point of view though I suppose you have to pay for travel etc so it probably works out much the same.
