Any one interested in this league??? Looks like a good tight League, First division is poor quality but we have 2 teams in it so keeps it entertaining for us anyway

There are some good young teams in it. the likes of Douglas Hall and everton seem to be very strong. Hall doing very well last year in both the munster junior and fai junior cups in which alot of senior teams would struggle to go as far.

Ya I saw Douglas play against Leeside and they beat them well, A few young players who could easily play senior and a few old guys who did played senior a long time ago:)

I reckon there would be more interaction on this section, lots of lads look at the senior team but keep an eye on the Junior team aswell, And Corinthians are having more fun on the Junior side of things at the moment!!!!

We have a good Junior team. I haven't been to see them this year yet but last year they seem to score alot of goals.. Very direct team, they bypass the midfield alot. Poor style but guess it works.. It brought tropheys. :):D

Would have to disagree with Ace even though Douglas would not be my favorite club in the world!!! I think the junior team play some great football and would rarely hoof the ball out of the back line, dont think they will win the league this year but still a nice team to look at, better than some senior teams who kick it long all day!!!!

I cant see beyond Douglas winning that league, Everton maybe might catch them but i'd have Douglas as strong favourites. Good side and they do play ball too.

I'd agree with ya. Are Douglas still in the FAI ?
Tight league at the moment, even UCC arent safe from the drop and they are top ! Mallow and Marys look in trouble but we played Mallow recently and they werent too bad at all.

Great idea to create a munster junior league thread. I must agree with Ace Forwards comment. I have seen Douglas Hall juniors play twice this year and it was very direct football. I thought our juniors were a standard above them that day in Everton park. I still think it will be between these two teams for the league. any one else have an opinion on that?
how can someone who supports Everton claim The Hall are direct, I was at that game and ye played 2 guys over 6ft 2in up front and lashed the ball up front to them all day!!!
Ye took an early lead but must say The Hall outclassed ye that day.
I have seen ye since and ye look alot stronger and much more mobile
Best of luck for the season

To be honest I think douglas Hall play very neat football. Not sure about the direct football style. Very good at counter attacking with pace. Ringmahon seem to have a good side this year and Avondale should be there or there abouts although otger clubs have a few games in hand over these two teams. Could be a very interesting run in.

Regional 4-1 Douglas Hall in fai junior cup. Great achievement from our lads to get so far in a tough competition. They can concentrate on the retaining the league now.
