Henry Hughton was Chris's brother who played for Orient in the late 70's - think he may have been in the the orient squad that reached the cup semi final. However I think there was a black player who won youth caps for Ireland just before Chris and Henry. I cant remember exactly but from memory his name was Lynch and i think he played for Coventry.

No, he meant Chris's older brother, Henry, a decent enough player at Crystal Palace, iirc:

Edit: Riff Raff beat me to it, but whilst Henry also played for Orient, I'd say he was much more associated with Palace.

I stand corrected.

If youre counting my post in the above then i think you need to relax and possibly get out more.

I think you need to stop advising me on my social life under the presumption that I was referring to your post. Which was juvenile and misguided rather than directly racist.

Could add Matthew Rush who played for West Ham and Ireland U21. Think he left the game because of injuries.

:p no presumptions, just a question....

yes Zidane, Matthew Rush played a couple of B internationals too if i recall correctly and looked like he could have been a pretty useful player. Played wide right, i think... Was going to mention him earlier...

Yeah remember him in the testimonial we played against West ham in '93/94 after we had qualified for the World Cup. Think it was for Tony Gale and they had just opened up the Bobby Moore stand.

If I remember correctly Rush played a half for either side (though the mind could be playing tricks!!)

I think Richie Byrne got a couple of under-age caps, but being with Inverness, I doubt he'll see any more
