Where'd you get the Premier fixtures from? Haven't gotten an e-mail myself yet. Feel awful left out. :(

Carefully filling them into my diary now. :)

I know Kildare County got relegated last season, is it due to the licence they are back in the League??

Bloody hell. Shels, Waherfurr and Sporting Franchise to start with. It couldn't have been any more difficult!

Yes they got a FD licence and Cobh didn't, so they swapped places.

Oct 23rd: Derry v Bohemians
Oct 24th: League Cup Final

There's one fixture that'll have to be moved anyway.

Opening day fixtures are the ones predicted earlier.

Predictions were Pats - Rovers first night. It's the last night instead. :o

Dundalk, Sligo and Mons all look good odds, might be worth a treble.

Was going to say that. Might go for a Sligo, Derry win, Dundalk draw accum.

Why, Bohs going to concentrate on League Cup this year? Surely the run of your lot can't continue, surely . . . .
As for bets of the opening day, throw United to draw with Pats into the accumulator as well, they'll really be up for putting one over on kenna, but probably won't have quality to win it

Derry v Drogs would be the obvious banker in the PD for the opening weekend.

Are all Shams home games kicking off a 7? Is there a particular reason for the early kick-offs?

5/4 on us is a bit tight. While there's a still a few weeks to go our defence might be one of our stronger areas this year I reckon if all goes to plan so a draw might be worth a punt as we're at home and it's the first game etc.

Our licensing laws are slightly "looser" on a GF.

Shels have been dealt a very unlucky hand. Away to Fingal, Waterford, Monaghan and Harps twice.

Yeah thats tough alright. We havent scored against monaghan away from home since we were demoted let alone beaten them. Just have to get on with it and make sure we win our home games.

One of our fixtures falls on my wedding anniversary. So, if the hotdog stand is still open at Ferrycarrig Park, Mrs Oldyouth will be treated to 'dinner and a show'

That one home game you had won you the league though.

I'm sure your last game of the season will be that all-important battle for 7th place with Galway anyway.*

:p

Even the current League and Cup winners don't get that priviledge

FAI ignoring the defending Champions in order to placate some teary eyes nostalgics for fear of getting another visit by a nutter with a petrol can...

I'd be happy battling 7th place with Galway in premier as im not taking that we are in premier until its official not this provisional crap.
