Even allowing for last night disaster IMO City still have 3rd place to lose.

Derry are in dire form so a win on friday is possible. They've held us to draws recently but can't remember last time they won in the league at the cross.
Shels result may not matter.
Drogheda will be safe on the last day & we always beat them at home.

If City get 2 wins (53 points) from last 3 games the 3rd place is almost guaranteed.
Can't see Pats get 4 wins from 5 games or Rovers get 4 wins from 4 games to level with us.

While I think it is still very much in City's hands, I don't think any result is guarannteed the way they are playing in general ie very inconsistantly!

I think we are playing very consistant at the moment, shíte in every game. This needs to change.
Can't see us winning again this season on current form.

I think Pat needs to change it around for the last few games and experiment with a few players in other positions to see if we can regroup for next season.
Lets write this one off

to be fair Pete, i don't think Pat's will need four wins in five games.

we have two wins in our ten most recent games, do you really fancy us pulling two wins from our last three.
the way we're playing, i think it's more likely to go a draw with Derry, loss to Shels and needing a win last day against Drogs, who regardless of whether they'll be safe or not are currently the leagues most in form side after Bohs.

in our favour is Pat's run in. playing UCD (who are causing everybody trouble at the moment), Longford (home and away) Rovers (still in the intertoto hunt) and Bohs.

I guess last day i'd prefer to be playing a safe Drogheda than a title chasing Bohs, but it'll go down to the wire.

pats only have 2 wins in their last 11 or 12 games, so don't write us off.

I still think mainly cos others not playing well either that it'll probably be still in our own hands on the last day against Drogs.

If we've learnt anything this year i think we can assume no certain results in the 10 team league & all clubs are unpredictable.

Every game seems to be a must win now & Derry is no different. My optimism probably clouded by not withnessing last night but shel$ will need a win next week which will suit our counter attacking away tactics.

We are favourites for the Inter Toto spot. How can ya say "write this one off"??? I agree we need to sort sh!t out big time before next season, but there's no point in throwing away a chance at Europe, surely.

But this is exactly what we are doing right now.

Dolan needs firstly to acknowledge this and then make some changes. Give some players on the fringe a chance especially the Nigerians. I presume they'd be fairly eager to try and gain a new contract for next season.

If we keep going the way we are we we can throw our hat at Europe. Our team needs freshening up.

Its a case of us having nothing to lose.

Come on Pat, get the finger out !!!!

Fair enough play one or two ie. Nwankwo and Benno I think should be in the team. But wholesale changes - no.

v Derry:

Devine

Horgan Murray Benno Woods

Doyle Nwankwo Colin T Casey

George Colin P

I presume you mean Chidozie Ukoh! He looked very handy for the u-21's last Sat. alright.

No harm giving him a run against Derry.

Feel sorry for Behan. It's all come a bit too soon for him I think.

Yeah him, dunno where I got Udah from ????
Tough week.

We seem pretty limited in the up front department.
He could cause a team as poor as Derry a few problems.

my team would be:

-------------DEVINE-------------
HOGGIE---DAN---BENNO---WOODS
COLIN T.-NWÁNKWO-GREG-KEARNEY
---------DOYLE---GEORGE-----------

Devine
Greg Dan Derek Hoggie
Colin T. Nwánkwo Benno Kearney
Georgie
Doyler

I'd drop Billy Woods. Hoggie IMO is our most improved player this season, mainly because he's actually playing right back but he never ever let us down at leftback either.
