Swedish one looks the business mind :D

Only happened once, earlier today, when I posted.

It was a banner ad with six rather attractive females (fully clothed I might add!), their ages and where they were from.

Standard escort/Internet dating ads. No I didn't click through!

No idea what forum I was in, possibly off topic (not sure if the ads are that targeted).

Do you use Firefox?

If so, install AdBlock (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/10). Gets rid of all those ****ty ads.

If you see a dodgy ad, please take a screenshot of it and note the URL it points to, so I can block it. I have absolutely no problem with this; would prefer to keep Foot.ie a family site.

Dunny, while I'm not opposed to AdBlock per se, I am opposed to it's use on Foot.ie. The site can't survive without clicks. Please whitelist Foot.ie - click on the down-arrow next to the AdBlock icon and then click "Disable on foot.ie" - and please click on ads that might interest you. You never know, you might actually find something useful or informative. (I have in the past, although it led me to being ticked off by Google!)

I've noticed the IrelandforEurope ads here as well. Wonder why they made it on here?

It goes without saying that I won't be clicking on them.

They made it on here because someone paid Google to place ads on Irish sites. The may even have targetted Foot.ie directly, who knows. We have no control over it, bar blocking it. If there's a reason to block it, state it.
