You only hear man ure fans chant when they've scored and usually it's that horse Rudd with a 'piledriver' from 2 feet out that scores their poxy goals. It sounds like they're booing him anyway so leave um off.:D

Ruud goes into a bar, sighs and orders a drink.
The barman says 'Why the long face?'

Very true, thanks for the no doubt experienced and first hand over a period of years knowledge of the United support...

Conor if I wasn't so p!ssed off at the budget (and not just about being moved to the arse end of nowhere) that I wasn't even arguing with FF heads anymore, I'd tell you there is only one United.....

Away from home United has great vocal support (even the scousers admit it) particularly since the loyalty scheme for the allocation of tickets.... At OT it depends where you are - Teir 2 of the Stretty is usually a good atmosphere, teir 3 of the United Road always has and always will be sh!te...

It really is laughable to critise English football atmosphere and songs, when the vast majority of chants in our league are adapted from there - I'll give two Cork examples off the top of my head - George O'Callaghan Tra la la la was populised by United for Ruud, and Feed the Jackeens was Feed the Scousers right back to the time of Band Aids release.

Macy, don't give us that crap about their being only 'one' united. What are ya on about,Harchester is it?

It's seems to me that the majority of the high and mighty man ure fans also own a jersey from the above make believe soccer team as well as having the brand new united shirt with old horse face or the 'superstar' Diego's name on the back.:p

Sad

Who's sadder - the fan obsessed with supporting United, or the fan obsessed with hating them?

Who's sadder? The fan who supports,or the fan who hates man ure?

Hmmm Let me think about that one..............0.2 seconds later.Yea Definately the fan who supports Harchester,I mean manchester united !:p:

Is this the real Macy?,who argues frantically with anyone not travelling a hundred miles on a frosty weeknight to support their eL club.Could it be that ou are actually a english premiership fan?and a Man U fan at that *cough*GLORY HUNTER

Worst home fans:Arsenal, even on a champions league night.

btw,Macy,it's spelt tier ;)

Yeah, it is..... Raised in Manchester, former season ticket holder in the Stretty..... However, since moving home your more likely to find me at an eL match than on a barstool as you can't beat live football.....

WUM is indeed Wind Up Merchant....

I apologise Beavis, infairness my speolling is normally stop on....

Completely agree. They have only two chants:

1/ AAARESNAL,(repeat twice)

2/THIERRY HENRY(repeat endlessly, no matter what is actually happening on the pitch)

Ya the highury liabrary as it's known is always quite.

As for the man ure away support,it's okay imo.I was at Anfield two years ago when liverpool gave good old 'Harchester' a fair hiding. The man ure fans sang for the first twenty minutes and then became mute as soon as Owen and Riise's(rocket) goals shut them up.

The champs league away fans are always great.Galatasary fans are brilliant singing and chanting for the 90 minutes, they put the home support to shame,at Anfield anyway.

Agreed, those two ARE absolutely desperate chants. Can't wait to see Real/AC knock 'em out in the 1/4 finals of the European Cup.

Now now Macy, you know how witty they are. Oh yes indeed, a very funny crowd. Yes yes yes, the wit of the Kop End. Hilarious stuff indeed. They're just naturally funny people. Everyone leaves Anfield a smile, those loveable rogues. Cheeky chaps, with their impish grins and their ready wit, razor sharp I tell you. Gotta love 'em...
Yeah, Dolans Waistcoat must have got lessons from Jimmy Tarbuck and Stan Boardman he's that good...
