Also worth a mention, Paul McNally's first call-up today to the Irish senior futsal squad for a tournament in Spain next weekend.

Probably would have been back with us this season if Vinny had gotten the manager's job.

McNally never struck me as the most nimble on his feet, standard of Irish futsal must be pretty low.
Seamie Crowe has been capped for Ireland at Amateur level in recent years I think?

McNally must be a futsal natural cos I would have thought he'd be far too tall to be any good at it!
Yeah Crowe has been one of the leading amateur players in the country over the last few years. Maybe Galway or Mervue might try and persuade him back to the league this year.

No Lynchy is a senior cap as well. In fact, he scored the Republic of Ireland's first ever goal in a senior futsal international. There's a stat for you!

I don't know that he's playing for anyone these days Marty. He was player/manager of someone in the LSL last season and while he plays as a banger in some over 35 games, I don't think he's playing proper 11-aside for anyone.
